  • Balsam Hill Tree with faulty/wrong lights



    We ordered a 9' tree, it's beautiful. It looked great the first year. However the next year we had a burnt(these are the LED lights and aren't supposed to burn out as fast) out section(1of5). I called and talked to customer service, they were very helpful and sent us a replacement. The replacement didn't arrive until just before Christmas, so we just put the new section in storage with the tree after Christmas.     Your return policy is unheard of in today's competitive consumer oriented market. If the tree is not returned before 12-25, it is no longer returnable ? Are you not able to find a alternate method of determining who might be attempting to return a used tree rather than implement a " no return " policy across the board and sacrifice customer retention ?   • Balsam Hill Trees - Bad Quality & No Customer Service



    This is a nightmare of a company to deal with. I have personal experience of buying a 12' tree from Balsam Hill at a cost of around $2000. The biggest mistake I made last year. Once you have bought your Christmas tree from them it all goes downhill from then on. Lights burn out and whole sections stop working. They have very little technical support and customer service is there just to blow you out. That's if you are lucky enough to speak to anyone.   • Customer Service hold



    Quite possibly, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with regarding customer service. The customer service phone line places you on hold, makes a please hold announcement, and keeps transferring you to hold announcements for five minutes.   • Poor Service



    have had the same trouble as other reviewers. My wife and I spent $700 on a nice tree to be enjoyed supposedly for Years to come. When the tree arrived we set it up. It had a significant lean to the side that I could not fix. I took the tree apart and put it back together again at least 4 times and still the lean was there. We also noticed a smashed electrical plug that looked unsafe. We called Balsam Hill NUMEROUS times. Each time I held the line for around 35 to 45 minutes just to speak with someone.   • POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE / DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS



    This is the worst possible company you could ever consider doing business with regarding purchasing a Christmas tree. We are a very dissatisfied customer being added to the long list that seems to be growing with this company. There are numerous negative reviews, poor feedback and complaints about Balsam Hill After spending almost $2000 on a Christmas tree at the www.balsamhill.com web site, it was put up for Christmas of 2009, just after New Years Day a complete set of several hundred bulbs went out. I purchased a Colorado Mountain Spruce from Balsam Hill and have experienced very few problems. Apparently, any customer service department shortcomings have been rectified or they are rare. In fact, the shipping time and contact wait time were excellent. I am particularly peeved that I listened to negative comments on this company and almost didnt buy from them. My personal experience with Balsam Hill has been good. I received replacement bulbs in a four day turnaround from my phone call...and that was from the west to east coast !!!

Ref. Order 80595

Received yesterday and order is imcomplete. We only received two duplicate boxes of number 2. There is no number 1 box. We were on hold for 21/2 hours yesterday evening.We are on hold again this evening as I write this message and have been for almost an hour. Please call 443-964-8384 our E Mail is. Kodal@comcast.net. We need your assistance immediately.
